Tik Tok Ramen Hack!

The most surprising thing I have learned from Tik Tok is hands down the recipes. People are doing things on Tik Tok completely out of the box! I love seeing peoples unique ideas and learning something new myself! Ramen has always been made a certain way but Tik Tok has opened my eyes to the new and best way to make instant Ramen!

If you want to make this amazing Ramen dish yourself, follow these easy steps!
In the video the ingredients are doubled.

Ingredients

  • 1 package ramen noodles (remove and throw away the flavor package)
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp minced garlic
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 “splash” of water
  • 1 egg
  • sesame seeds, green onion and pickled hot red peppers for topping (optional)

Instructions

Boil the ramen noodles according to package, but do not over cook! drain the noodles just before finished cooking all the way and set aside.

Melt the butter and add the minced garlic, cook until fragrant.

Add in the soy sauce and the red pepper flakes and cook until it starts to thicken.

Add in the brown sugar and stir constantly until melted and combined.

The sauce will be too thick at this point so add a splash of water to thin it out a little.

Add your noodles to the pan and coat completely in the sauce.

Scoot the noodles to one side and crack the egg in the same pan next to the noodles.

Scramble and cook the egg almost completely next to the noodles before combining.

Stir it all together and plate up.

Top with sesame seeds, green onion and pickled hot red peppers or whatever you like!
