Here in the Northern Hemisphere we are welcoming Fall right now in September. All things must die before they can be reborn. It's the same for us spiritually and for self-improvement and just basic maintenance of our personal wellbeing. The Fall equinox is the perfect time for this internal analysis and preparation to begin.
I have been thinking about starting a YouTube channel for years... But I have always been too nervous and self-conscious to actually do it. One day I decided to video myself trying a tik tok recipe and it was so much fun! It flipped a switch in me and the motivation to actually start one took hold!
September is Self-Improvement month and I think it is the perfect time for it! If you're a parent, the kids are back in school and the craziness of summer is finally over. It's also early enough that the obligations that come with the holiday season haven't started yet. It gives us a perfect opportunity to reflect and take time to focus on ourselves.
Planning out everything you want to do and everything that needs to get done months in advance will elevate so much of the stress that comes with the holidays. Nothing gets over looked, no one gets forgotten and you get to spend more time during the holidays actually enjoying the moment.
